Turkey meat is very low in fat and calories. Its protein content ranges between 17% and 25%. Turkey provides dogs with vitamins A, D, B12, B6, as well as calcium, iron, and magnesium.

Pumpkin is particularly low in calories, contains no saturated fats and no cholesterol. It provides vitamin A, carotenoids such as beta-carotene, dietary fiber (supports digestion), potassium, vitamin C, vitamin E (cell growth, protection and regeneration, skin health, fat metabolism, supports the immune system, neutralizes free radicals), lutein & zeaxanthin (eyes), niacin (skin, metabolic processes), folic acid, vitamin B6, thiamine, pantothenic acid, copper, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, and magnesium.

We therefore recommend regularly monitoring the puppy’s weight against breed-specific growth curves (average normal weight by age per breed) and adjusting the feeding amount accordingly (feeding more or less as needed).
